Please be aware that the majority of the Trust’s footpaths are NOT stone surface. The footpaths are mainly earth and leaf litter surfaces through woodland and grass paths through meadows. STURDY footwear is always advisable.
There are 26kms of footpaths on the ‘Exploring the Severn Gorge ‘ leaflet which are our main walking routes and are maintained regularly and strimmed annually between May and September. There are many other paths which you may come across and are very welcome to explore but are NOT maintained. At certain times of the year and weather conditions, you may find these harder to negotiate.
