Liz Rogers who volunteers for Butterfly Conservation has written a lovely article in  ‘the Comma’ the regional magazine for West Midlands Butterfly Conservation.  In it she shows the benefits of working in partnership with organisations like the Trust in helping to conserve and manage key wildlife sites for butterflies and other insects.  In fact some of the key butterfly species afford High Priority Status – Small Heath, White-letter Hairstreak and White Admiral – live in the Trust’s landholdings.  Liz and her colleague Christine Littlewood spotted the White-letter Hairstreak in Lloyds Coppice and the Trust has now modified its management of this area to support the habitat for this key species.
