One Tuesday per month, SGCT volunteers help the Trust in smaller, though equally important tasks. Today, our volunteer, Mac, sharpened and lubricated our loppers which have had alot of use in the past 4 months with coppicing and hedge-laying. While Lisa, Marilyn and I cleared some of Ladywood of rubbish, tree guards and canes filling seven bin bags.
We’ll be having a stall at the Green Wood Centre this Sunday 13th April at the Bean Pole Day: 10.30-4pm. Lots of stalls, activities and refreshments.
Lotso of people appear to be walking the Iron Trail. If you happen to do so, we would be delighted to recieve feedback from you. On Friday, a waymarker, with red arrows, was installed near the road opposite the footpath up to the Holy Trinity Church.
