In order to audit paths in woodlands and green places around Telford, twenty four local volunteers have been trained by the Fieldfare Trust to undertake access audits to the appropriate Countryside for All standard. The Access to Nature User Group will be measuring width, length and gradients of paths and identifying positions of seating, resting places and barriers such as stiles. Once audited, infrastructure, information and interpretation improvements will be carried out over the next three years.
