Walks Programme

Welcome to the FREE Little Acorns Family Nature group funded by Natural England and the BIG Lottery. This group meet every school holiday and we welcome new families. The only criteria is that children have to bring an adult with them and we all join in the activity.

We meet at Coalbrookdale Community Centre, Darby Road, Coalbrookdale to catch the minibus or on site as in the programme. Sometimes we limit the group to 12 so we can used the minibus. Other times we meet at different meeting points around Ironbridge and explore woodlands doing exciting activities from den-building to hedgerow surveys, from tree climbing to fossil hunting. If you have a group and like nature activities but would prefer a guided activity in your own time, though not weekends, please contact me, cadiprice@severngorge.org.uk . I also have funding for school visits in 2013 and open to ideas!
